Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026. This policy explains how NoCapture handles your data. In short: we avoid collecting it.

What we collect

Almost nothing. When you create an account, we store your email address and license key. That is it. We do not collect your name, location, employer, or any other personal information unless you voluntarily provide it through support channels.

Local-first by default

NoCapture runs entirely on your machine. Your window list, protection rules, title masks, and settings are stored locally and never transmitted to our servers. The application functions completely offline except for license validation.

No telemetry, no tracking

We do not use analytics trackers, crash reporters, or usage statistics tools. We have no visibility into which apps you cloak, when you cloak them, or how you use the software. Your screen is yours.

License validation

The only network request NoCapture makes is a single UUID check to verify your license status. This request contains no identifiable information beyond the license key itself. No device or behavior tracking.
