NoCapture Pricing for Small Remote Teams: Pro vs. Teams Plan

May 14, 2026
|NoCapture Team

NoCapture offers three pricing tiers. For a small remote team, the decision usually comes down to Pro accounts for each user or a single Teams plan. The math is straightforward, but the operational differences are what actually matter.

The Pricing Tiers

Free: $0 forever. Two protected windows on one device. Includes live preview, title masking, and multi-monitor support.

Pro: $5 per month or $39 per year. One user, unlimited protected windows, routines, scheduling, global hotkeys, auto-start, and rules.

Teams: $49 per month or $399 per year. Includes 10 seats, unlimited protected windows, admin dashboard, deployment configuration, team-wide privacy policies, SSO readiness, dedicated support, and onboarding assistance.

The Math

For a team of 10:

  • 10 Pro accounts annually: 10 × $39 = $390
  • 1 Teams plan annually: $399

At 10 seats, the cost is nearly identical. The difference is not price. It is administration.

For a team of 5:

  • 5 Pro accounts annually: 5 × $39 = $195
  • 1 Teams plan annually: $399

At 5 seats, Pro is cheaper by about $200 per year. But you lose centralized management, which may cost more than $200 in IT time if you need to configure five machines individually.

For a team of 3:

  • 3 Pro accounts annually: 3 × $39 = $117
  • 1 Teams plan annually: $399

At 3 seats, Pro is clearly cheaper. Choose Teams only if you need the admin features.

What Teams Adds That Pro Cannot

  • Admin dashboard. See which team members have protection enabled, which routines are active, and which devices are enrolled.
  • Deployment configuration. MSI and Intune packages for silent installation across managed devices.
  • Team-wide privacy policies. Enforce which apps must be cloaked during screen shares. Remove the dependency on individual users remembering to protect Slack or email.
  • SSO readiness. Connect to your existing identity provider.
  • Dedicated support. Faster response times and onboarding assistance for IT administrators.

When to Choose Pro

Choose individual Pro accounts if:

  • Your team is 1 to 4 people
  • Everyone is comfortable configuring their own privacy settings
  • You do not need centralized reporting or enforcement
  • Budget is the primary constraint

When to Choose Teams

Choose the Teams plan if:

  • Your team is 5 to 10 people
  • You have an IT admin who manages software deployment
  • You need to enforce privacy policies across distributed workers
  • You want to reduce onboarding friction for new hires
  • You need SSO integration or plan to add it

The Hidden Cost of Free

Free tier supports two windows. For a typical remote worker, that might cover Slack and a password manager. It does not cover email, Discord, personal browser tabs, or internal tools. The free tier is designed for evaluation, not production use.

Teams that try to run on Free often discover that users skip protection for apps beyond the two-window limit, creating exactly the leak the tool was purchased to prevent.

Deployment Reality

Rolling out NoCapture Teams takes about 30 minutes for an IT admin familiar with Intune or Group Policy. The MSI installs silently. Privacy policies push through the admin dashboard. Users see protected apps auto-cloak based on team rules without manual configuration.

Rolling out 10 individual Pro accounts requires 10 separate purchases, 10 separate installations, 10 separate routine configurations, and ongoing trust that each user maintains their own setup.

NoCapture provides OS-level window cloaking, title masking, and notification shielding for Windows. Free for two windows. Because "being careful" isn't a strategy.
